Service lines

Four service lines, one record format.

Diagnostics, scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs and service records all run on the same written estimate, the same parts numbering and the same entry in the vehicle file. The timings below are typical for a mid-size car at any workshop in the network.

  1. 01

    Diagnostics

    60 to 90 min

Fault-code scan with live data review, plus a road test when the symptom only appears under load. The diagnostic fee is quoted before the scan is run, and it is credited toward the repair invoice if you approve the recommended work.

    • Fault codes read, cleared and re-checked after a test drive
    • Sensor and actuator readings compared against the make specification
    • Written findings with the parts and labour hours needed to fix it
  2. 02

    Scheduled servicing

    2 to 3 hours

Mileage-based maintenance for petrol, diesel and hybrid cars, worked through the manufacturer interval sheet rather than a fixed menu, so nothing you already had done is charged twice.

    • Engine oil and filter, air and cabin filters, fluid levels topped up
    • Brake, suspension and tyre condition recorded with measurements
    • Service record entry stamped with mileage, date and workshop code
  3. 03

    Mechanical repairs

    4 hours to 2 days

Timing components, clutch, steering and suspension, brakes, cooling and engine work. Every part is listed with its number and every hour is counted before the car goes on the lift, and no work starts without your approval on that estimate.

    • OEM-equivalent or original parts, labelled by maker and number
    • Photo or video of the failed component kept in the vehicle file
    • Replaced parts available for inspection when you collect the car
  4. 04

    Service records

    Same day

One file per vehicle, opened at the first visit and updated at every one after it. Because the format is identical across the network, any workshop can read the history and continue where the last one stopped.

    • Mileage, date, location and work performed for each visit
    • Parts used with numbers, plus the next due date or mileage
    • Copy handed to you at collection, on paper or by email

How the work is authorised is set out in the estimate approval gate, and the terms covering supplied components sit under parts and warranty. Questions before booking? Use the contact form.

Estimate & Approval

What the written estimate contains

No repair begins on a verbal figure. After the inspection the workshop writes the estimate in one format used across the whole network, and the car stays on the ramp until you approve it.

If the scope grows

  1. 01

Work stops at the point of the discovery, with the vehicle left as it is.

  2. 02

A revised estimate is issued with the new lines added, never a rounded verbal figure.

  3. 03

Your approval is recorded on the job card with a date and time, or the repair does not continue.

Approval can be given in person, by phone or by message. Declined lines stay declined. See parts and warranty terms, or book a diagnostic.

Parts and warranty

The part on your invoice is named, and so is its warranty

Every repair line lists the part category, the brand, the part number, the quantity, the unit price and the warranty months. Nothing is fitted before you approve the written estimate. Approval works as described in the estimate approval step.

Part categories we fit

  • Manufacturer partOriginal part, listed with its manufacturer number. 24 months.
  • OEM equivalentSame specification from a named tier-one supplier. 18 months.
  • Quality aftermarketApproved alternative brands, always quoted as such. 12 months.
  • Used or reconditionedFitted only with your written approval on the estimate. 3 months.

Warranty terms

  • Labour6 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first.
  • Where validAt every workshop in the network, on the same record number.
  • Not coveredWear items: brake pads, filters, wipers, bulbs, fluids.
  • ClaimBring the vehicle and the service record to any network workshop.

Coverage ends where a fault traces to a part you supplied, an unapproved modification, or work done elsewhere after our repair. Unsure which category fits your vehicle? Ask the workshop before the estimate is written.

04 / Request a quote

Every repair starts with a written estimate you approve first.

Tell us the make, model and the symptom. We inspect the vehicle, then send a written estimate listing part numbers, labour hours and a price range. No work begins until you approve it. If a diagnostic fee applies, it is disclosed before the scan and credited toward the repair invoice when you go ahead.
